Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of FasterLang.com (“FasterLang”, “we”). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use FasterLang.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher). Members under 18 should use FasterLang with a parent’s permission and may not buy or sell services.
- One person, one account. Keep your password safe — you’re responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information about your languages and, if you sell services, your qualifications.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of what you write (posts, journals, corrections, forum messages, suggestions, reviews). You give FasterLang a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt (e.g. format or translate) and distribute it on the service. Corrections, suggestions and votes you contribute to shared AI content may be merged into that content and remain available to other members after you leave. You are responsible for what you post and must follow the community guidelines.
3. AI-generated content
Texts, translations and explanations are generated by an AI model (xAI Grok) and improved by the community. They are provided for learning and may contain mistakes. Don’t rely on them for legal, medical, financial or other important decisions. AI texts generated on FasterLang may be shown to all members and reused in the library.
4. The tutor & services marketplace
- FasterLang connects buyers and independent sellers. Sellers are not our employees; the contract for a service is between buyer and seller.
- Sellers set their own prices and are responsible for delivering what they describe and for their own taxes.
- Unless stated otherwise in the order flow, payment arrangements are made between buyer and seller. We may introduce on-site payments and fees later; you’ll be told before they apply to you.
- Disputes: use the dispute option on the order. We can review the order history and may remove listings, reviews or accounts, but we don’t guarantee any outcome or refund.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t break the law, infringe others’ rights, spam, scrape the site at scale, try to break or overload the service, get around usage limits (for example with multiple accounts), or misuse the AI features to produce harmful content.
6. Moderation and termination
We may remove content or limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the guidelines. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
7. Availability and liability
FasterLang is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and accurate but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (if any). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. For significant changes we’ll give notice on the site. Continuing to use FasterLang after a change means you accept the new terms.
